For artists,
By artists.
We bring recording, production, creative support, and live audio together around one thing: helping people make music that feels like them.

Built on music.
Grounded in people.
Hilltop^Studios is an independent recording studio and creative team serving artists in the Dayton area and beyond.
Founded by Aaron Hill, Hilltop grew out of a lifelong connection to music. Aaron picked up guitar at 12, was operating a studio by 19, and released his debut album in 2012. That experience as an artist continues to shape the way we work.
Today, Hilltop’s story is shaped by a team with complementary roles. Aaron Hill leads as CEO, while Joseph Daniels brings audio and production support to the work as Audio and Production Technician. Steven Sawyer connects artist relationships with opportunities for growth as Artist Relations & Business Development Representative. Josh Cornish supports the coordination of live experiences as Event Operations & Access Coordinator.
Together, Aaron, Joseph, Steven, and Josh connect the creative and practical sides of a project—from the sound itself to artist relationships and event coordination. We support emerging and established artists with professional care, clear communication, and respect for their creative voice.
